The Legend of voice, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He rests while his voice casts the spell.
This is in my view his most powerful qawwali. The music composition, the feeling you get when he goes into “Dil Lagi, Bhool Jani Pardegi, Tumeh Dil Lagi” … bloody vah! I saw him perform this live in 1995 … still sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it. 20 out of 10!!!

In my view, this is one of those best qawwalis by Nusrat Fateh Ali khan which attracted a young generation to Qawwali , rock-fans particularly. I know alot of guys who started to listen him through this qawwali.

I think that Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was one of the best qawaals of his time, and this qawaali is certainly one of my favourite (im listeninng to it right now!) along with sanson ki Mala Pe. I think it is realy spiritual and connects with you deep within…may he rest in peace.

Assalamualaikum. Anyone here knows the meaning of tumhain dillagi bhool in english, I mean the whole song lyrics. I agree with Sonny that it send shivers down your spine everytime you hear the song. Everytime I hear this song, my heart feels like its going to jump out of my chest and go dancing. After watching video of Nusrat performing this song live, I’m sold. Although I don’t know the meaning of the song lyrics which is in Urdu, I felt a certain attraction to it, and also an attraction to Nusrat even though he is not among us physically.
