Yeh 10 saal kia aglay 10 saal aur phir rehti dunya tak Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan tumharay chahanay walo keh tawasul seh tumhara naam hamesha zainda rahey ga.
Yuhn too dunya main sabhi aah keh chalay jatay hai par kuch loog aisa khas kar jata hai keh tarikh khud aun ko apna juz bana laiti hai jin main seh aik Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan bhi hai.
“Jab tarey dhun main” maked me cry, its superb, amazing, koi mool nahi Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan key har geet ka.

I just listened to Shahen Shah for the first time in years, (a long and unhappy story, and a stolen tape…)
I was so moved to hear the songs again - but nothing moved me like ‘Nit Khair Mansan Sohnia Main Teri’ - hearing that song again felt like a rebirth, I cried so much sadness, and so much joy.

My soul is shaken deeply ever since I heard Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saab’s song “kinna sohna” when i was 18 yrs old. I got greatly inspired and started singing at that age.
I believe from deep within my heart and soul, Ustad ji is present around us. He lives in the hearts of people who love him.
I usually begin my day with his kalaam. My only wish in life is to meet him. I will do that one day. I want to touch his holy feets and kiss the sand where he stands. I cannot believe his physical being not present with us. He is here, living in us.
Tears roll down my eyes when I listen to him. I feel his presence.
He is Allah, he is Waheguru!
He came down to earth just to teach us all what Divinity is, what love is, what emotions are and what God is. My soul won’t leave my body until I visit the holy shrine of Ustad ji in Faisalabad, Pakistan.

Though i m a great fan of MOHD RAFI AND KISHORE KUMAR.I also love nusrat sahib coz i have never heard any singer more classically solid and evergreen with high pitch voice as of ONE AND ONLY NUSRAT SAHIB.HE TRULLY IS THE GREATEST QWAWAAL THE WORLD HAS EVER WITNESSED.YET WHEN HE SANG SIMPLE SONGS EVEN THAN HIS TERIFFIC VOICE WAS A GEM.

i don’t have words to express my feelings for Ustad’s voice & singing. So divine, so mystical… i was 08 years old when i first heard nusrat. his compositions are still fresh to me after 19 years. his voice will remain alive forever.
and afer 10 years he’s gone…yet i listened to his compositions & raagas that were new for me. today i listened for the first time “jab teri dhun”…WOW

Since I have started to listen to Nusrat Sahib. Rest seems to useless. I strongly believe non one can ever reach the height of music that Nusrat Sahib has achieved.
I admire Nusrat sahib.
My biggest regrets is that I haven’t heard him live.

Nusrat Khan Sahib is BABA of Qawwali. his contribution in qawwali is unforgetable. BICHRA KUCH IS ADA SE K RUT HI BADAL GAI. IK SHAKHS SAARE SHEHER KO VEERAAN KAR GYA.
